Since their unholy beginnings in 1995, death metal miscreants ABORTED have been pioneers of the genre, crushing friend and foe with relentless intensity and an uncompromising blend of flawless technique and raw emotion. The multinational combo led by Sven de Caluwé carved out a niche for themselves in the extreme metal realm, initially gaining notoriety by offering ruthlessly fast death grind with groovy breakdowns on their early works ("The Purity of Perversion" and"Goremageddon: The Saw And The Carnage Done"). Through the careful crafting and introduction of technical elements on more recent releases such as "TerrorVision", "Retrogore" and "ManiaCult", ABORTED have continued to refine their deadly blend of furious death metal.
