Abseilen

In the organizer's words:

This adventure high above the rooftops of Burg Castle promises pure excitement and thrills.
It takes quite a bit of courage to cross the threshold and look down into the depths.
But this courage is rewarded with a perspective that otherwise only the kestrels get to see. An unforgettable memory!

Procedure

After a short round of introductions, the safety equipment is distributed and put on under the supervision of an experienced climbing instructor. This is followed by a thorough safety briefing to ensure that everyone is well prepared.
The abseiling then starts from the second floor, a gentle introduction to familiarize yourself with the technique. The second step takes you to the second floor, a somewhat more demanding challenge. Here, everyone can test their skills and decide whether they are up to step 3, as the final abseiling round takes place from the highest point (approx. 28 meters), the last floor of the keep - THE ultimate highlight and the climax of the event.

Duration of the entire event: approx. 1 hour

Conditions of participation

Max. 4 participants per group (can be extended for closed groups after consultation)
Minimum age: 10 years (accompanied by a parent or legal guardian)
Minimum weight: 45 kg / maximum weight: 120 kg
Normal physical fitness, comfortable clothing suitable for the weather and sturdy shoes

Not suitable for people with physical illnesses of the musculoskeletal system, people with mental disabilities, people with a strong fear of heights, pregnant women

Exclusion of liability
The participant declares that he/she has no claim whatsoever against the organizer, the site owner, organizations associated with the event or other participants in the event of injury and is adequately insured against accidents and liability claims.
The exclusion of liability applies to claims on any legal grounds, in particular to claims for damages arising from contractual as well as non-contractual liability and also to claims in tort.
The organizer is not liable for health risks and dangers of the participants. It is the participant's responsibility to check their state of health before taking part and, if necessary, to have it confirmed by a doctor.
The organizer is not liable to pay compensation to the participant if
due to force majeure, official orders or for safety reasons, the organizer is obliged to make changes to the implementation of the event or to cancel it.
