The balancing act between training as an actor and the fabulously exalted, bizarre and alcohol-soaked everyday life of his grandparents presents Joachim with an almost endless series of tragicomic and ludicrously bizarre incidents, leaving the young man searching for the meaning of life and acting behind him time and again, amazed, learning, but also overwhelmed and exhausted.
