"Ach du dickes Ei!"

In the organizer's words:

On 11.4. and 13.4.2025 the Easter holiday program "Oh you fat egg!" will take place from 10 - 12 am.

This program is all about eggs: What is an egg? Which animals lay eggs? How does the chicken develop in the egg? What's the story behind the coloring of birds' eggs? Why do the eggs of some bird species have camouflage colors and patterns? Which eggs can be found in the exhibitions of the Museum of Nature and the Environment?

Finally, we will paint blown-out chicken eggs that we have brought with us: The eggs of blackbirds, lapwings or gulls, for example, are beautifully colored and serve as models from nature. The children can take their own creations home with them. Each child needs 3 - 4 blown-out hen's eggs, regardless of the color.
