Tipping points are often mentioned in the climate debate. The term tipping point refers to a moment in which a previously straightforward and clear development abruptly and suddenly breaks off, changes direction or accelerates sharply due to certain feedbacks.

As climate research shows, such processes can lead to irreversible upheavals in a relatively short space of time. We want to make the public aware of this with our audio-visual project. The project is designed in such a way that its outcome is open and that the interaction of sound and image can suddenly take a completely new and unexpected direction.

For the "tipping point" project, we want to reinterpret the visual and audio material we have developed (inspired by the climate debate). The existing modules of the composition will be approached anew each time as a live remix. Nobody knows the exact sequence and dramaturgy of the performance in advance. Just as the development of the climate cannot be predicted, we do not want to determine the course of the performance. (Jan Galega Brönnimann)
