With their intoxicating mix of electronica and Arabic sounds and vocals, Acid Arab are a permanent fixture on the European club and festival scene. They have been a regular at Gretchen since 2017, be it with their self-curated club night La Hafla, with explosive live shows, with an exclusive All Night Long DJ set or with up-and-coming DJs and producers with whom they have an artistic and visionary connection.

The music collective Acid Arab was formed in 2012 in the transcultural cauldron of Paris from the meeting of Pierre-Yves Casanova, Nicolas Borne, Hervé Carvalho, Guido Minisky and Kenzi Bourras. The basic idea behind Acid Arab is to build a bridge between North African and Arabic music and the sounds of Western club culture in order to give Arabic culture a place in the world of contemporary electronic music. A musical encounter of different worlds - of instruments, melodies, technologies and people. From Algerian gasba, Anatolian trance, synthetic dabkeh, bionic raï and much more, Acid Arab has integrated a whole spectrum of styles, constantly redefining the boundaries. Acid Arab is about love, freedom, hope and telling stories of a world without barriers.

Producer Cheb Runner is a musical whirlwind rooted in Morocco, exploring diverse musical landscapes. Cheb Runner stands for a new sound of the in-between, he is influenced by different worlds and a traveler between times. With his own sounds and recordings from his sample bank based on traditional instruments, he playfully mixes analog with digital effects, supported by a unique collection of synthesizers. As a producer, composer and DJ, he combines traditional and contemporary electronic music, moving from Moroccan chaabi and spiritual sounds to eclectic disco and deep techno.

The French-Lebanese music project Tales & Ahlam is a collaboration between the French producer DJ Bab and the Lebanese singer Celinatique. The duo combines Arabic pop melodies with energetic house and club-ready productions. The result is unique soundscapes in which catchy vocals and instrumentation from Arabic pop merge with driving rhythms and electronic sounds.

Box2 belongs to Cosmo Vitelli, who has not slept since 1973. He has replaced his irregular sleep schedule with a tireless search for forgotten treasures of club music and shares his discoveries as a producer, DJ, musician and label boss. Cosmo Vitelli prefers to spend his nights behind the turntables, making night owls dance to new and unknown tunes.
