ACUA is a psych-pop/alternative band from Cologne.
After more than 80 concerts and successful tours through Europe, Canada, Great Britain and Japan, as well as the release of two studio albums "Head Under Water" and "Is There More Past Or More Future", ACUA are currently working on their third album.
Patrick (vocals, guitar), Caroline (drums), Maja (synthesizer) and Igor (bass) have earned a remarkable reputation for their captivating, hypnotic live shows.
With spherical guitars, driving drums, swirling synthesizers and singing bass lines, ACUA have supported acts such as FKJ, Darwin Deez, The Japanese House, Sam Evian and OMNI. They have also played at renowned festivals such as the Melt! Festival, the Reeperbahn Festival, the Canadian Music Week and the Herzberg Festival.
