Once again this year, Theater Hagen invites you to a festive Advent concert. This time, choir director Julian Wolf is devoting himself to the beginning of all existence - with Joseph Haydn's popular oratorio The Creation. Even the musically daring and groundbreaking "Vorstellung des Chaos" captivated contemporaries. And when the sixth day of creation is not followed by the seventh, but by the depiction of the first humans in paradise, the work points ahead to the Fall of Man - and therefore also to the redemption from original sin through Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate at Christmas.
