In the organizer's words:

Afrodance Germany and Start2Dance e.V. invite you to an energetic dance course and a participatory offer. Participants can look forward to a mixture of Afrodance and hip hop. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced dancers. Selected dancers can take part in shows.

We want to promote the visibility of people with migration histories in art and culture and reflect the diversity of society. We therefore particularly encourage people with migration histories/BIPoC to take part. The prerequisite of a discrimination-sensitive attitude applies to everyone. The aim is to promote cultural participation, break down barriers and create an inclusive dance community. You can join at any time.

Afrodance (18:30-20:00):

This course offers low-threshold access to the dance culture of the African continent. In addition to basic dance skills, it promotes a sense of community and cultural affiliation.

Participatory offer (20:00-21:30):

In the second part of the course, the participants help to shape the content. In hip hop and street dance, creativity, empowerment and democratic co-determination are actively encouraged.
