AI (Ancestral Immediacies): Das kollektive Gehirn – Vorträge, Gespräche, Performances, Installation, DJ-Set

In the organizer's words:

Based on the approaches of neuroscience to a broader concept of intelligence that includes plants, fungi and spirits as well as digital humans and collective neurons, AI (Ancestral Immediacies): The Collective Brain forms of critique of the conventional understanding of the individual brain as the sole center of consciousness, cognition and subjectivity. It addresses reflections on the separation of spirit (mind) and body and how this shapes the development of an information technology that asserts individualism and separability. With a keen eye on reflections on current trends in technoscience - for example in the consideration of the behavior of molds and lichens as a problem-solving approach - the festival discusses alternative metaphors of the mind and brain and how these could influence the social in other ways. Could AI be used to strengthen sociality against pathological influences, unite the mind with the body and repair our relationship with the wounded earth?
