Akiko is a brave monkey child with a big mission: he escapes from the zoo to find the monkeys that live in freedom in the forest. In the process, he makes lots of new friends, such as a raccoon, a ferret and a chameleon, who help him fulfill his mission. To free his family, he takes to the skies - in a model airplane, a balloon and even on the back of an eagle! Neither zookeepers, police nor gravity can stop this flying monkey...
