One of the most interesting indie newcomers of the year announces her first headlining tour: Songwriter Akryl is coming to Germany for three dateswith the "when I grow up, I want everything but fear " tour 2025.

The coordinates of Akryl's journey: year 2000, zero hour. Akryl grew up in a musical household. At the age of six she sits at the piano, a year later she is on the theater stage - lessons on the instrument, dance and acting accompany her, but eventually invention becomes her most important expression and her creative nature takes over: at 14 she discovers songwriting as a counterweight to emotional overload and matures as a songwriter for four years until she takes the stage in 2018 and plays over 50 concerts until 2023.

During this time of trial and error, Akryl'sown autonomous sound language was formed from live sound, studio work and experimentation. Indie pop and folk, sprinklings of electronically altered elements, gentle choirs, driving guitars and earthy brass instruments suddenly add up to more than the sum of their parts: The result is Akryl - half art figure, half pixelated self-portrait. Akryl'smusic is both an intimate expression and an artistic creative urge: her German lyrics are more than just lyrics - Akryl'slinguistic compositions are experienced poetry that trigger something and awaken deep memories and emotions. The trained multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer meticulously works out the arrangements of her songs, creating, discarding and reassembling until everything fits together.

Her talent quickly attracts attention: in 2023, Akryl is invited to the newcomer support program of the Popcamp in Mannheim, in 2025 she plays as support for Mine, Lena&Linus, Julie Gilde, Bruno Kawelke or nand and is booked for almost fifteen festivals and open airs such as the About Pop Festival, Zermatt Unplugged, Maifeld Derby, Stadt Ohne Meer, the Popsalon or the Vektol Festival.

Her debut single "Blumen aus Metall" was released in April 2025 , followed by "Wachstumsscherzen" at the end of June, which immediately landed her on renowned playlists such as Spotify's "Wilde Herzen", "New Music Friday Deutschland", Apple Music's "New Music Daily Switzerland", "Neu in:Pop", "New Music Daily Deutschland", "New Music Daily Österreich", Amazon Music 's "Fresh Deutschpop" and YouTube Music 's "RELEASED" and "Deutschpop 2025".

Akryl has now confirmed her first German headlining shows for the fall; the cleverly poetic "wenn ich gross bin, will ich alles haben außer Angst - Tour" 2025 will take her to Hamburg, Cologne and Berlin in November.
