page21. Immersive space
page21 is a project of the storyLab kiU of the Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts in cooperation with the Dortmunder U, the Museum Ostwall and the Museum für Kunst und Kulturgeschichte Dortmund. The project explores digital storytelling at the interface between art, society, technological innovation and narration and offers visitors an innovative art experience. Referring to well-known works of art from the collections of Dortmund's museums, page21 enables visitors to interact with works of art in a completely new way. The focus is not on faithfully reproducing the artworks for digital space, but on creating a digital, narrative, multi-sensory art journey. Socially relevant topics are addressed in the narrative worlds and worked through in collaboration with contemporary artists.
