Admission to all B-Seite events on a donation basis

The 16th edition of the B-Seite Festival for Visual Art and Contemporary Culture presents a multifaceted performance program that places sound, image and technology in new contexts. For the first time, the festival will take place in the Alte Feuerwache, which will be the venue for both the performances and the exhibition of digital art.

At the opening, an experience of live drawing, video animation and electronic music will be presented: the Brussels collective ALEA(s) creates gripping performances that break down the boundaries between art forms. Illustrator Pierre Coubeau, musician and synthesizer maker François Gaspard and graphic designer Boris Wilmot create their show in real time - without a safety net, surrounded by the audience. Hypnotic animations, organic sounds and visual improvisations merge into an intense, immersive live experience.
