Alexander Flood on tour with new album.

Alexander Flood is one of Australia's leading beat masters with a refined arsenal of groove, power and drumming know-how. Leading his own band from the drum chair, Alex's music explores a fresh, rhythmic and dynamic world of live dance music with nu-jazz, deep house, broken beat, DnB, funk and experimental sounds. With his third album "OSCILLATE" (2023), released on the Berlin label Jakarta Records, he combined Australian and European influences and pushed dancefloor-oriented club music in a completely new direction. His fourth studio album "ARTIFACTUAL RHYTHM", released by Atjazz Record Company, proves that he has picked up even more speed.

Flood's band consists of some of Australia's finest instrumentalists - Erica Tucceri on flute, Jake Amy on keyboards and Dylan Paul on bass, who has been playing with Alex for ten years. The band has gained an enormous reputation in Australia and internationally and has performed at WOMADelaide, the Melbourne International Jazz Festival, JazzMontez Frankfurt and clubs throughout Europe.
