Alexis brings the piano into the mainstream. He is passionate about making music accessible to all. The new album "Classical Soul Volume One" combines Alexis Ffrench's signature soul music with classic hip-hop mixtapes and includes excerpts from soul anthems such as "Ain't No Sunshine" and "A Change Is Gonna Come".

The album is introspective and about "rebuilding". Classical Soul Volume One was created after the tragic death of Alexis Ffrench's father. He says: "This experience makes you think about what you have and what you have left."

A star of classic soul, Alexis' sound refuses to be pinned down to one genre, one time period or the expectations of what kind of musician he is. Rather than fitting into the narrow, traditional understanding of "classical," Alexis Ffrench instead leans outward, drawing from a diverse mosaic of influences that takes the listener by the hand and leads them on a journey through a world of possibilities.
