Somewhere between Y2K nostalgia, cyber aesthetics, anime vibes and emotional trance music, DJ Wasserfall, co-founder of the Schiebt Anders collective, feels at home. Influenced by wave/post-punk music, 2000s Balearic trance, internet culture, fairycore and ambient, his sound is a digital prayer floating through the virtual fog - a mixture of wistful melancholy and shimmering points of light in the darkness. After making waves with his acclaimed "Uschi Trance Edit", DJ Wasserfall began to develop his sound in a dreamier, more ethereal direction - inspired by a digital era of heartbreak and tears.
