Exhibition of the Katholischer Männerfürsorgeverein e.V.:
Venue: Showroom, first floor
Compared to other cities, homeless people have so far had little impact on Munich's cityscape. Nevertheless, an increasing number of people here no longer have a home of their own. Usually invisible to society, they live in various homeless assistance facilities.
For 75 years now, the Katholische Männerfürsorgeverein München e.V. (kmfv) has been working to ensure that homeless people receive advice and support. Founded by parish priest Adolf Mathes in 1950, the kmfv has developed a unique support service for homeless people over the years with the commitment of many partners.
As a city community, we can succeed in reducing homelessness in Munich and alleviating its consequences for the people affected.
