Benjamin is a theater director and knows that things can't go on like this. The theater needs to open up. If you want to reach more than just the same people and be socially relevant, you need new offerings. Participation is important. You could let the audience vote on the program. Disturbed by theater rehearsals in the room next door and confronted with unexpected conflicts within his own team, Benjamin becomes increasingly entangled in contradictions. He is clearly not as open-minded as he would like to be. His search reflects the comedy of a society that is struggling for change and at the same time for stability, developing crazy dynamics in the process.
