The internationally renowned Allotria Jazz Band from Munich was founded in 1969 and has been one of the most distinguished groups on the traditional jazz scene in Germany for many years. In the styles of swing and swinging Dixieland, 7 excellent soloists play compositions from the first decades of the last century at the highest level under the trademark "The Fine Notes Of Classic Jazz". In addition to the sophisticated musical personalities of the musicians, the orchestra's own arrangements and the 4-part brass section with 2 trumpets provide the unmistakable sound of a small big band.

21 LP and CD productions in more than 5 decades, a large number of television and radio recordings as well as more than 2000 public concerts bear witness to a versatile band history. With countless international appearances, including more than 30 tours to the USA and Canada, the Allotria Jazz Band is Germany's No. 1 export when it comes to "classic jazz".
