Alte Bekannte

Alte Bekannte - successor band to the legendary Wise Guys - are without doubt one of the most extraordinary phenomena on the a cappella scene. Their repertoire mainly comprises self-written German-language songs in which they sing tongue-in-cheek about "real men" and teachers' children as well as their own offspring as "little terrorists".

Since their successful launch in 2018, Alte Bekannte have continued a long-standing tradition as the legitimate successors to the disbanded Wise Guys, as two original Wise Guys singers, Daniel 'Dän' Dickopf and Björn Sterzenbach, are also founding members of Alte Bekannte. The quintet celebrates its German-language a cappella songs with an incomparable authenticity, in which EVERYTHING! is produced with human voices without exception - even the rhythm accompaniment - no matter how much they sound like fat drums or crisp ska horns.
