Alte Mädchen: MACHT

In the organizer's words:

They performed their debut evening over three hundred times. Standing ovations. All over Germany. They danced, sang and talked themselves free. And scattered lovely harmony in the process. But ALTE MÄDCHEN have a problem: both are absolute alpha animals. And each wants to be the boss. Razor-sharp dialog, rousing songs and multiple dance interludes without fear of loss and using all sustainable resources: the two gladiators of pop cabaret answer all open questions. MACHT is also an evening about friendship that has withstood every internal and external crisis.

Michael Gaedt (Die kleine Tierschau) wrote after the duo's premiere on October 12, 2023 at Theaterhaus Stuttgart: "...Popkabarett...for the first time, this often used signet fits, because the focus is not on the desire for something pop, but the whole show is a #1 pop song. Not afraid to let their pants down, not afraid of big emotions or pathos and elegantly, en passant, explain the world to you. Sure, Pink and Taylor Swift can do that too, but so can Jutta Habicht and Sabine Urig! ..."
