Amaro Latscho Flamenco

In the organizer's words:

Amaro Latscho Flamenco - that's the singer Aylén Bárbara Gerull (soprano) and the musicians Nusret Ismailov (flamenco dance, percussion), Juanito Fernández (flamenco guitar), Javier Sánchez Pérez (double bass).

Aylén Bárbara Gerull, trained opera singer and dancer, together with the aforementioned musicians, combines classical singing tradition with Spanish, Latin American and Oriental music styles. Find out more about the artist on her website: Aylén Bárbara Gerull

Nusret is the founder of "Los Flamenquitos". He comes from a Macedonian Roma family from which many musicians and creative artists have emerged. The Roma have significantly influenced Spanish flamenco and continue to shape it to this day.

Juanito Fernández, guitarist and singer of Amaro Latcho Flamenco. Juanito comes from the Spanish city of Almería and has lived in Hamburg for many years.

Javier Sanchez Perez is a bassist, composer and arranger. He combines his musical activity with the academic field as a teacher and researcher of traditional musical styles and their integration into a contemporary musical context.

Last year, the group was a guest in Lübeck as part of the intercultural weeks. We have now been able to win these outstanding musicians for a concert. Let yourself be enchanted by their singing, flamenco guitar and flamenco dance!

The concert will take place in the auditorium of the Volkshochschule Lübeck at Falkenplatz 10. The DIAG team will provide drinks and tapas for the physical well-being of the guests.
