Amery Sandford began releasing as Alpen Glow in 2020 after years playing in punk groups on the isolated Canadian island of Newfoundland. She is now based in Montreal, Canada where she has shed the moniker, making music with her solo project and as half of Montreal pop duo Born At Midnite. On her debut record Continue As Amery released by Night School (Glasgow, Scotland), she brings her punk and DIY credentials into sharp focus on 8 perfect pop odes to city living, making mistakes and figuring it out as you go along. Suffused with powerful imagery and an almost uncanny talent at spinning out hooks brimming with humor and spirit, Amery's soundworld is informed by friendship, experience and by her day job as a renowned illustrator and visual artist.

Ultra Far is the project of St. John's & Montreal-based Sarah Harris, emerging from the ashes of the Canadian band Property (2016-2021). Fitting generally in the alternative category, Ultra Far's sound is both electronic and organic; optimistic and wistful. Some of Property's isms are carried over, giving a taste of what could have been had the project not been halted in 2021. Harris, a frequent collaborator as a guitarist and bass player with artists such as Kelly McMichael, Knitting, and Amery takes the mic and producer role with this new project. The debut album, For Music is Alive and Well, demonstrates effortless experimentation with sound and genre, carving out a distinctive identity while capturing the raw energy and modern melancholy of this new chapter. More literally, the music is a mix of outsider pop, straight up guitar rock, and folk. This something for everyone approach is a calling card for the new era of genre-curious music fans.

Emma Nydén is a Swedish artist and producer based in Berlin. She combines intricate melodic layers with a contemporary electronic sound crafting a fusion of alternative pop and electronic/ R&B influences, characterized by rhythmic basslines, shimmering synths, and entrancing melodies. Her lyrics delve into existential themes such as anxiety, monotony, and the intensity of love.
