AMI WARNING captures emotional life in all its facets with her songs in German like hardly anyone else. Most recently on her critically acclaimed fourth album "Auszeit". She tells stories of breaking out and arriving, of self-empowerment, courage, openness and making peace with oneself. Sometimes haunting, strong and raw, then again tender and soulful, the music and lyrics, but also her voice. Musically, together with her band, she packs this into a wonderful sound of soul, reggae, folk, pop and dub.
