Amours Chimiques

In the organizer's words:

This is the story of Candide, but also that of many others. Candide has just arrived in Paris and knows nothing about chemsex when he meets Ilyes. He knows nothing of the euphoria of the first trips, nor of the long fog that envelops the comedowns. Candide discovers the elation and then the loneliness associated with consuming the products. During this initiatory fall, the young man collects his partners and loses sight of his friends, his family and his future prospects. His sex parties, which extend to whole days, become both the origin and the only way out of his isolation.

Amours Chimiques (Chemical Loves) portrays an adventurous but vulnerable part of the LGBTQIAP+ community and gives a voice to sex workers, trans people, young gay and bisexual men and the social workers who look after them.

TW: The play contains scenes of sexual violence and drug use.
