An exploration of musical gems from American pre-1960 country music. The band plays new arrangements of pieces from the honky tonk, Nashville sound, Hollywood film music of the 40s, dark American folk ballads and their own songs, preferably with very slow, prairie-like tempos.
Amy Green's smooth, beautiful and deeply emotional voice, three-part vocals and an unusual set of instruments for a country band - trumpet, tenor horn, theremin and liluquin - are a force for deceleration
