Brent Hinds, legendary guitarist, unconventional visionary and decades-long figurehead of metal icons Mastodon, is coming to Europe solo for the very first time in 2025 - bringing not only his unmistakable guitar, but also two of his wildest musical projects with him. With Fiend Without a Face and Dirty B & The Boys, the versatile musician is embarking on an intimate club tour through 18 European cities - and will also be stopping off in Germany for four exclusive concerts. Fans in Munich, Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin can look forward to an evening that lies somewhere between an ecstatic rock show, a wacky crossing of genre boundaries and a personal look into the musical inner life of Brent Hinds. After more than 25 years as the creative driving force behind Mastodon, ten acclaimed studio albums, countless worldwide tours and a Grammy for the album "Emperor of Sand" (2017), Hinds and the band opened a new chapter in March 2025: They parted by mutual agreement - and while Mastodon continue on their path, Hinds is going back to the origins of his musical work. In doing so, he makes it clear that anyone who thought his musical journey had come to an end was very much mistaken. Long before Mastodon was even founded, Hinds was already on the road with Fiend Without a Face - a crazy mix of surf punk, psychobilly, rockabilly, country, noise and humor that sounds at least as wild live as it looks on paper. This is where the driving waves of surf guitars meet the charm of the southern states, garage punk energy and a healthy dose of irony. Together with Dirty B & The Boys, his latest heartfelt project that moves somewhere between southern rock, lo-fi country and classic alternative rock, Hinds shows just how multifaceted his musical talent really is - detached from genre pigeonholes, free from expectations, but with all the more passion.
