An Gott glauben – eine gute Idee? Manfred Lütz, Britta Müller-Schauenburg und Bernd Stegemann über den Glauben in unserer säkularen Gegenwart

The life of the theologian and philosopher Britta Müller-Schauenburg seemsanachronistic: as a scientist, she heard the call to enter a convent and now lives as a nun. Meanwhile, more and more people are turning away from church and faith these days. The dramaturge Bernd Stegemann is not a believer either - and yet he recognizes the evil of our time in our godless present. In Was vom Glauben bleibt (What remains of faith ), he claims that where once there was belief in God, today there is belief in supposedly absolute truths, fanaticism and fundamentalism. For theologian Manfred Lütz (most recently: The Meaning of Life), on the other hand, Christian values such as tolerance, compassion and internationalism are the best means of combating extremism.
