an grenzen

In the organizer's words:

"look you know my hands in any case they exist by the millions in germany they had a long journey before they came here and here their journey goes on and on they are the hired hands the hired hands and with them the hired bodies."

"an grenzen" looks at the hands we needed and the bodies that came with them. Who helped to rebuild the country, who stood on assembly lines for decades, who passed on their history to their children, who experienced right-wing violence, who still experience racism, exclusion and murder today. The text is not characterized by anger, but by a longing for perception and encounter.

Özlem Özgül Dündar's text will be premiered as a tribute to all those who have been victims of right-wing violence.
