We remember - but what remains when memories disappear? The exhibition AN7R0P0C3N explores the transformation of history and identity in the age of technological progress.

Sculptural representations of human infants bedded in industrially manufactured baby carriers create a disturbing connection between the familiar and the strange. In contrast, a disintegrating magnetic tape depicts the German invasion of Poland in 1939 - a symbol of the fading of collective and personal memories. In part interactive, the artworks made from found objects react to synthetic, emotional and social processes.

After its first stop in Krakow, AN7R0P0C3N is now being shown in Düsseldorf in a new constellation. The exhibition thus continues a cross-border dialog.

Against the backdrop of the complex German-Polish history, AN7R0P0C3N raises questions about responsibility and historical awareness and invites us to reflect - about identity, about the traces we leave behind and those that disappear over time.
