And Action! Stunt-Workshop

In the organizer's words:

At the And Action! stunt workshop, you will have the opportunity to get to know a real stunt woman: Samia Hofmann is an actress and stunt performer from Berlin and has already worked on productions such as The Hunger Games.

Would you like to find out more about the exciting work on a film set and gain your first practical stunt experience? Then our workshop is the right place for you!

We will compare raw film footage with final movie versions, watch documentary clips of the fight of a real young female boxer from Dortmund and, above all, get active ourselves: together we will try out the basics of punching and kicking techniques, learn various acrobatic exercises and create our own fight choreographies.

For young people aged 14 to 18

The occasion for the workshop is the HMKV exhibition You Can't Make This Up (October 12, 2024 - February 2, 2025) by Silke Schönfeld, who has already collaborated with stunt choreographers, among others, for her filmic works.
