Angst4:
Breathe in some of the coolness of the early eighties? Somewhere between the dystopian anxieties of a young Robert Smith with his triology, the early ABWÄRTS at the time of "Computerstaat" and the currently hip timbres of Plague Pits, ANGST4 from Saarbrücken position themselves with dark synths and cool bass lines. This is the "German Angst" that John Peel made famous in the UK in the early eighties with X-MAL DEUTSCHLAND. Now ANGST4 have suitably staged the complexity of angst with coolly orchestrated paranoia. This would have been a perfect release on ZickZack Records in 1982. What a compliment!

is a project born between Verona and Berlin, mixing rough analog synth sounds inspired by the beginning of the minimal noise experimental wave in the 70's and the need of violent dance moves coming from the repetitive structures of early EBM. Minimal aestethic, High Contrasts and screamed dadaistic/political lyrics portrait a vision of sensual industrial
soundscape and the need of social riot
