Australian indie folk in Germany: Angus & Julia Stone on tour

Some music is for singing along loudly and letting off steam, some is for letting your emotions run free at the end of a long day - and some is for letting your thoughts run free and refocusing on the big picture. The Australian sibling duo Angus & Julia Stone have been providing material for the latter for almost 20 years, releasing songs that resemble a musical view across the vastness of the sea. The sibling duo are also bringing this to Germany. For all those who could do with a little Australian attitude to life in their everyday lives.

In 2006, the siblings began sharing their longing indie folk with the world through their own production, sound and songwriting process, followed a year later by their debut album "A Book Like This". The hit "Big Jet Plane" stormed the charts worldwide - a song that also found its way into pop culture with its great popularity and was used in the soundtrack of the series "Suits" and "One Tree Hill", among others. Angus & Julia Stone's patent recipe has been right from the start: Songs that pick you up exactly where you are with your everyday sensitivities and transport their listeners into a reflective, grounding parallel world.
