Renate Bergmann takes off: out of Berlin, into the supposed peace and quiet of Spreeweide in Brandenburg. Where Stefan, Ariane and the children live and Renate's retirement home is waiting for her. She has to clean up there anyway. As soon as she arrives, she clashes with Mayor Brummer. "Why don't you run for office yourself?" she doesn't need to be told twice. 82 years or not: Adenauer and Renate really get going at this age. That's why Renate's election poster is soon hanging on every village lamppost. Without the diamond, but with a smart blazer. After all, you vote with your eyes!
When local reporter Trutsch shoots his pictures at the inauguration of the carousel at the "Wurzelzwerge" daycare center or at the competition for the most beautiful balcony box in Spreeweiid, Renate is now a voter. The actress Anke Siefken lives in Bavaria and Hanover and has been acting for over 40 years, currently at the Theater in der List in Hanover. She has been successfully touring the country as Renate Bergmann since 2015. She is also no stranger to the Peterknecht bookshop, having been a guest here several times as Renate Bergmann.
