With her acoustic indie soul and crystal-clear songwriting, the Berlin guitarist and singer touches everyone who has a soft spot for profound songs. Groove-accentuated, thoughtful songs, carried by a great voice that is able to murmur deeply and float brightly like a soprano. Anna was born in Berlin and grew up in an artistic household. During her jazz studies at the Leipzig Academy of Music, she gained fame as the front woman of the band Still in the Woods, with whom she toured internationally and released several recordings. After completing her studies, she composed and performed a song for the Netflix series "The Queen's Gambit", which earned her fans worldwide and an Emmy nomination. On 29.09.23 she released her first solo album "how long is now", which was reviewed in various media, including Rolling Stone (1 page story / interview), Deutschlandfunk, Radio Eins, FluxFM (Top50 Best Songs 2023), Diffus, Spiegel Online and many more. The album was also presented on an international tour, with concerts in Berlin, London, New York, Bucharest and Paris, among others. After an intensive studio phase, Anna Hauss is releasing the first two singles "When we get to know each other" and "Just Don't Know" from her second album "Unknown Waters" this fall, which will be released on 21.03.25.
