Annemarie Andre liest aus „Nacktschnecken“

As part of Feel Austria Week, the Hundt Hammer Stein bookshop invites you to a special literary evening: Austrian author Annemarie Andre will read from her highly acclaimed debut novel "Nacktschnecken", a sensitive and haunting story from the perspective of a child.

With quiet observation and poetic precision, Andre describes growing up in a world in which the invisible often carries more weight than what is said. "Nacktschnecken" is a story about childlike perception, about closeness, speechlessness and what is between the lines - a book that touches without being loud.

The reading invites you to listen, immerse yourself and reflect. It shows what contemporary Austrian literature can achieve today: It takes a close look, tells stories with linguistic finesse and makes social reality visible in a quiet but forceful way.
