ANNIE CHOPS

Her stage is the street. Because Annie Chops has never cared much about the rules of the music business. With nothing but a bright red Flying-V guitar, a velvety raspy voice, a loop pedal and the disarming aura of a lone fighter, she takes the space she deserves. In a divided world in which many are increasingly fleeing into their smartphones, Annie uses the urban space to create human encounters again. For a brief moment, she pulls passers-by out of their everyday lives with her music and unites them as accomplices - at least for the moment. In her honest songs, she deals with personal and social issues, injustice, personal healing and - of course - love. When she is not performing her own songs, she is touring as a guitarist or bassist alongside Mark Forster, Lena Meyer-Landrut and Alice Merton. Since her last album "Level Up" (2021), the multi-instrumentalist has taken time to write and develop her artistic voice. The result of this phase will see the light of day in 2025.
