"In 2014, his first single "Foto" was released on the EP of the same name. Since then, Ansa Sauermann has released three albums and 40 songs. "Weisse Liebe" in 2017, "Trümmerlotte" in 2020 and finally "Du kriegst was du brauchst" in 2023. Whether solo, in a trio or as a five-piece band, Ansa has played his way into the hearts of his fans over the years. In 2023, he was involved in a film soundtrack for the first time in "Sophia, Death and I" and the following year he also appeared in the much-acclaimed Element of Crime documentary "Wenn es dunkel und kalt wird in Berlin" by Charly Hübner. As support for Faber, in 2025 again with Element of Crime, or on his own tours, the Dresden native, who has long since found happiness in Vienna, has lost none of his joy of playing and is far from tired of it.
He is currently in the middle of recording his fourth album, which is expected to be released in March 2026. After his third and last album "Du kriegst was du brauchst" ("You get what you need"), which mainly featured softer tones, his fourth album is a big all-round hit. The acoustic guitar that dominated in the past is increasingly swapped for electric guitars and melancholy dreaminess gives way to angry bewilderment. He is not interested in pointing the finger at others, but rather in placing it uncomfortably and pointedly in the wounds of our time. But as always, Ansa Sauermann does not neglect the romanticism that gives us support and confidence in times of increasing uncertainty and division. After all, what else is worth fighting for and keeping hope alive if not love?
