Antanzen – Ballroom 101 mit Panama Mulan

Ballroom 101 offers an introduction to ballroom culture, its history and its importance as a safe space for queer and trans communities and is inextricably linked to the activist and social work of the community. In addition to theoretical input, the focus is on the fundamentals of vogue fem - from the characteristic movements to the expression of self-confidence and creativity.

Vogue Fem is a category and dance style of ballroom culture that emerged in the late 1960s by and for the African-American and Latin American LGBTIQ+ community. Inspired by iconic model poses from Vogue magazine, Vogue Fem combines various dance styles into a unique performance form.

Panama Mulan will introduce participants to the techniques and teach them the basics of this powerful and elegant dance style.
