ANUBHAB FESTIVAL 2024 - Indian Music and Dance

The ANUBHAB FESTIVAL is entering its fourth round!

Under the motto "Indian Music and Dance", the Anubhab Academy, together with its support association Anubhab e. V. presents a varied program ranging from classical Indian raga music to rousing Indian dances. As in previous years, renowned international and local artists will take to the stage at the Bürgerzentrum Ehrenfeld.

Live on stage:
Tabla master Debasish Bhattacharjee from Cologne will lead the evening musically and open the festival together with the singing duo Anirban Das and Diptam Sinha Biswas from Kolkata. The three musicians have already performed in this constellation on national and international stages. At BüzE, the audience can look forward to classical Indian dhrupad singing and traditional bhajans.

The Anubhab Tabla Ensemble is the percussion ensemble of the Anubhab Academy and will once again delight the audience with sophisticated compositions. The renowned dancer Reena Pathrose and the dance group from the Agni Dance School will also bring the Indian dance tradition to the stage with South Indian Bharatanatyam and Bollywood dance.

The evening will be rounded off with traditional raga music characterized by virtuosity and improvisation by sitar player KG Westman, sarod player Mayukh Gangopadhyay from Kolkata and Debasish Bhattacharjee on the tabla.
