Along Stadtpark-Allee, visitors will find a wealth of different apple varieties and many other regional specialties. Jams, juices and schnapps are offered from the apple harvest. There are also flowers, beekeeping products, many other types of fruit and vegetables, handicrafts, flower arrangements and fruit trees for sale.
The apple market has its origins in the Agenda21 movement, which focuses on sustainability. The Fürth Apple Market showcases the whole variety that local orchards have to offer: aromatic apples and pears, fruity juices, tangy musts, honey and much more. In addition to food, there are also information stands where visitors can find out about wild and honey bees, biodiversity and nature conservation. For children, there are various hands-on activities, short historical tours and much more.
