In the unconventional compositions of saxophonist Sandrine Ramamonjisoa, the band Appaloosa sets itself the goal of always being open. In improvisational passages as well as in the varied pieces. The young quartet thrives on its intense and intuitive interplay and conveys its joy of playing with seriousness and lightness, volatility and staying power at the same time. Stylistically, they play creative jazz with diverse influences from hip-hop, trap and Malagasy music.
