"This is one of the best world premieres of the 44th Montpellier Danse Festival. ... Absolutely fascinating, moving story." Agnès Izrine, Danser canal historique, 22.06.2024
Arkadi Zaides is celebrated for his work between forensic, documentary and choreographic practice. In his work "The Cloud", he brings together the still incomprehensible Chernobyl disaster and its deadly "cloud" with the cloud of new artificial intelligence, whose future effects seem just as unpredictable and uncontrollable as the reactor technology was at the time. Zaides presents a captivating and intense performance in which past and present, facts and fake news become entangled in an unsettling vortex.
