Armada Theater: LUMINA

LUMINA is a voice-controlled artificial intelligence (AI) built into an ordinary desk lamp. It learns quickly, is your best friend, can drive a car, manage your everyday life and generate images. It is so similar to us that we can hardly tell the difference between a human and a machine.
It is being developed by two people who are trying to program LUMINA's algorithms in such a way that they can get the best use and the most profit out of it.

In a mixture of puppet and object theater with live camera and live music, Armada Theater examines the learning behaviour behind an AI and asks the question: What does it mean to be and remain human in an increasingly digitalized world?
