Arne Dessaul liest aus seinen Krimis - Studio Lesung

Arne Dessaul grew up in the district of Wolfenbüttel, including A-levels and an apprenticeship at Jägermeister. In 1989, he moved to Bochum and studied communication science at the Ruhr University. During and after his studies, Dessaul wrote for Coolibri, WAZ and other print media and currently works as an online editor in university communications at Ruhr University.

In the mid-2010s, Arne Dessaul discovered his talent for crime writing. Since then, he has come up with at least one tricky case every year. The setting was initially tranquil Wolfenbüttel, but since 2021 it has been Bochum.

Here is an excerpt from his work: "Trittbrettmörder" (Gmeiner-Verlag), "Ihr letztes Stück" (Maximum-Verlag), "Die Neue Mauer" (Redrum Books), "Ihr letzter Flirt" (Maximum-Verlag). In his current crime novel "Ihr letztes Spiel", Dessaul answers the question of why Italy, of all countries, became world soccer champions in 2006.

In December, he will be reading from his crime novel, which will be published at the end of the year and whose title we will only reveal when the time comes. Stay tuned!
