Arthouse: Remainder

Like the infinite loop of a Möbius strip, REMAINDER begins and ends at the same moment. It contains a fragment of a life: after losing his memory in a serious accident, a young man tries to understand himself by immersing himself in his fragmented memory. The eight and a half million pounds in compensation he has received under the condition of silence enable him to assemble a world and an identity more and more obsessively, in which the possible past is realized in the present.

This film is part of the supporting program for the exhibition "Holding Pattern - Warteschleifen und andere Loops".
