ARTificial Intelligence: Das Zusammenspiel von KI und Musik

In the organizer's words:

The rapid advance of artificial creation in creative processes is perceived as controversial. The potential of technology stands in contrast to the authenticity and creativity of human-made art. In his lecture, Prof. Ali Nikrang will talk about the role of humans in the interplay between AI and music. As an AI researcher and composer, he works primarily on the development of new and intuitive collaboration possibilities. How can we imagine AI and musicians working together in concrete terms? In a panel discussion, Prof. Ali Nikrang together with Prof. Moritz Eggert and Hanni Liang will present selected examples, while students from the University of Music and Performing Arts will perform AI-composed music.
