Artist Talk mit Künstlerin Theresa Weber

In the organizer's words:

We invite you to an artist talk with artist Theresa Weber, whose textile work in the foyer marks the start of the exhibition "Da(zwischen-)sein". In an open discussion with curator Sena-Marie Cirit, the artist will provide insights into her artistic practice, talk about identity, anti-colonialism, cultural memory and how spaces in between become visible and tangible in her works.

Theresa Weber (*1996, Düsseldorf) studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and the Royal College of Art in London. In her interdisciplinary works, she combines diverse materials with personal and collective stories. With her installations, Weber opens up new perspectives on representation, visibility and historical narratives.

The artist talk is part of the supporting program for the exhibition "Da(zwischen-)sein", which can be seen at the Suermondt-Ludwig-Museum until 10.08.2025.
