The Artur Rutkevich Quintet is a young, highly talented jazz formation led by alto saxophonist Artur Rutkevich, who grew up in Kaliningrad. The members of the band have already played at many jazz festivals in Europe and have a wealth of experience. The band's sound is refreshing, sonorous and lively. The young musicians from Berlin skillfully combine jazz tradition with contemporary, improvised music.
